Each area of Berlin has its own distinctive character and appeal
and everywhere you'll see graffiti - works of art, not vandalism!

Travelling around the city couldn't be easier using the u-bahn,
s-bahn or one of the apparently millions of bikes in the city!
If you want to see historic buildings then visit the area around
the Unter den Linden and see that symbol of Berlin's capacity
for survival, the Brandenberg Gate that has witnessed so many
epic events in the city's history and stood on the dividing line
of the Berlin Wall for 3 decades.

Here also you will find impressive churches, museums, galleries,
historic buildings and commemorative statues. On the Unter den
Linden see the statue of Frederick the Great and visit the Zeughaus,
the German History Museum.

Stroll on and pass the Humboldt University Building, The Staatsbibliotek
(the State Library) and the Deutsche Guggenheim Gallery.
In a more contemplative mood and it's on Eberstrasse that you'll
find the Holocaust Memorial and information centre.
